The cleansing by Emmanuel
The cleansing by Emmanuel is about how Jesus transforms my soul. I am concerned with building an interior life that is as beautiful as the great cathedrals. Sometimes when I succeed in overcoming some small vices, I look at myself with pride and think that I see a clean soul like a great white church. However it is in times of pride like these that I know I cannot do without the light of Christ. He is the one who shines His light into my soul and shows me where all the dirt are -- the resentments and unforgiveness that lurk in places where I could not see. He is also the one who provides the means to clean my soul in the Sacrament of Reconciliation where His grace and love abounds.
